Want To Live To 100? Try To Bounce Back From Stress
Love this story from NPR on what makes people live long healthy lives. I’ve been thinking about this lately. It seems that elderly are much more engaged here in Miami than in most other cities in US that I’ve lived or visited.
I notice that people of all ages are generally very engaged. There is very little generational separation here - very little ageism. It’s not uncommon to see 60 year old couples at the same bars and lounges as 20 year olds. (I think Latin Americans tend to live like this and this is generally a very Latin American city.)
This article talks about how people who can bounce back from stress quickly tend to live longer and happier. They don’t let things weigh them down. I think people in Miami live like this.

What Do Moms Do With Their Time?
Love this post… talking about what stay-at-home moms (or any moms) do with their time.
For me, the “tasks” of being a mom aren’t what’s the most challenging. It is the constant negotiations that you have with your child that are the most difficult.
